Legal Question in Personal Injury in Texas

I was working on a oil rig in midland texas and i was hit in the face with a 20 pound sledge hammer because i was told by are supervisor to hold a rusty steel pipe while another co worker hit it and it slowly started to peel up hit by hit and the hammer eventually slipped off and my face was within a couple feet and i got hit less than one inch above my eye and i was gushing blood laying on the ground for 4 hours waiting for a safety coordinator to come give me a drug test before i could be taken to the hospital and im just wondering should i take this was to court

If your employer had texas work comp insurance, you can't but if he did not, you have a good case for negligence and damages....but under work comp all medical expenses should be paid and you will get a check for 70% of preinjury gross earnings...call us if we can help
