Legal Question in Product Liability in Texas
A contractor did shoddy work on my house and never came back to finish the job. I had to pay someone else to finish the job.
Is it true I can place a lien against his business. If not, what are my options?

You need a judgment against his business before you place a lien. These are called "judgment liens". See a real estate lawyer or a business lawyer for this if there is sufficient money involved to make it worthwhile.
