Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

I live in Texas, last year I sent in a partial payment, which was all I could afford. The moetgage company refused my payment, is this legal? Now they are trying to foreclose on my home for nonpayment.

I recommend that you talk to a real estate attorney in your area.

Also, you can post on www.avvo.com

I don't think they have to accept a partial payment. If you are behind on your payments, they can foreclose. I assume now there are late fees added to your regular payment. Soon December's payment will be due so you are getting farther behind.

You might try to sell the home and avoid foreclosure. It would have to be a quick sale. A realtor might be able to assist you and negotiate on your behalf. I know a realtor in Dallas that has helped people - Charles Nuber. I don't know where you live. If he's in your area, let him that I sent you to him!
