Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Texas

Promissory Note.

I put together a promissory note. Should the borrower receive a copy if they ask for it or is the rule that it should be only one copy with the original signature? Also, can there be late charge and bounce check clause in a promissory note?

More than one original is acceptable and you can try to put whatever you want in it, but you should have an attorney review it if enough money is involved for you to bother making a note.
