Legal Question in Sexual Harassment in Texas

sexual abuse by doctor

I was sexually abused by my doctor. and now he wont stop calling me. I looked him up on the state medical board of texas, and I found out that he has been in trouble for this multiple times before. I have no job, and i have no money for a lwayer. What can I do? I have heard that a lwayer will take a case with no money up front, but then you give them a percent of what the judge awarded you. Is this true?

Yes, it's called a contingency fee contract. This means that you usually pay nothing up front, and the lawyer will charge you a percentage of what s/he collects for you. If they collect nothing, you pay nothing. Costs of suit are also charged against the recovery. If there is no recovery, the lawyer absorbs the costs as well. Give me a call if you would like to discuss your matter.

Yes. One of the attorneys in my firm has devoted a significant portion of his practice to handling this type of case, and he does so on a contingency fee basis with no money required from you and you pay him nothing unless he collects for you. These cases are quite complex and difficult and you really need to retain a lawyer with significant experience in handling this type of matter. Please call us as soon as possible.
