Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Texas

Does to Executor have to have a hearing for the Distribution of Funds? Also how much is the Executor's "fee"?

It depends if the Executor is independent or dependent from court supervision. As to the executor's fee, the statutory fee is 5% (but there are lots of exceptions as to what this can be applied against.)
