new partner property money worries

I bought ago and put a large deposit on it after a messy seperation.my new partner wants to move in with me but case we split up and he gets half of my house including the large deposit I put down on my house.After we are married I also worry present does not own a property only rents and if we seperate he will get half of everything which I feel is unfair.I also havn when they are adults I would like to leave them some money from my house in my will can my new husband contest this.I amvice even if my partner buys his own house now he could rent it out but he would never have the amount I put down on my proper yrs old he is 48years old and I am terrified of losing my life earnings which is all in my propertydue to my past experience with my ex of 20 years marraige please help thankyou

your concerns are most proper and realistic. They are easily addressed however by entering into a cohabitation agreement before your partner moves in and should you decide to marry, entering into a prenuptial agreement before the marriage.
