Legal Question in Immigration Law in United States Minor Outlying Islands

Legal Resident?

Dear Sir,

I was a permanent resident (green card holder) until 2005, when my GC expired. Three years before that, in 2002, I married an American Citizen and I applied for citizenship and the lawyer left the case in a mess. Nothing happened. In August of this year, my wife passed away. My question is. Am I a legal resident? Can I continue to pursue my citizenship at this point in time based on my marriage or otherwise?

Your answer would be indeed be appreciated.

Re: Legal Resident?

Please contact my office directly to discuss this in more detail. I am assuming you have been living in the US during this time, and have not committed any crimes. This should be something that can be sorted otu with relative ease, but setting a time to talk to discuss the details will be important. I look forward to hearing from you.
