Legal Question in Criminal Law in Utah
Not charged yet.
Traveling thru Utah my boyrfiend was arrested on a consealed weapon charge (brass nuckles). We paid them $1850.00 as bail. We live in the state of Virginia. This happened on April 1st, as of now June 22, he still has not been charged. I thought there was a federal law that you have to be charged within 30 days. No one in Box Elder county can answer our questions. We would like to have the bail money back.
