Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

piece rate laws

Ok I live in utah and I do medical and dental claims from my home, I was paid $7.00 and hour for 45 days, then they moved me to piece rate, I am not as fast as employees that have been working in this field for a long time and am not even making minimum wage, it just doesn't seem right for them to not have to pay at least minimum wage is it legal for them to do this, because my speed is not good yet on my last check I made like $3 an hour.

It is legal. You may terminate your employment at any time.
