Legal Question in Employment Law in Utah

termination

I was terminated from my job after admitting being an addict. My manager and I were stealing drugs from the work place. We both checked ourselves into rehab centers. Upon discharge I was fired but the other nurse has kept her job with full pay while in treatment. Do I have any kind of case or chance of getting my job back? When we first admitted to our addiction we were told we still had our jobs.

All other things being equal you should have been treated the same way as the other nurse. This may be disparate treatment. Are you aware of any other reasons why you could have been terminated? Any other reasons why the other nurse kept her job?
