Legal Question in Personal Injury in Utah

how long does someone have from an incident to sue someone. If something happened in 2007 can they in 2011 come after them???

There are limits on time you have to sue, depending on what happened. If you were injured in an accident in May 2007, you would have to file suit before May 2011. On the other hand if some one defamed you in 2007 the time has expired for you to file suit.
