Legal Question in Business Law in Virginia

Contract Dissolution

Is there any legal stipulation that nullifiess a legal contract based on falsification of facts by one party involved in the contract. A partnership dissolution resulted in formulation of a contract that prohibited remaining partners from being representative agents of the firm. Information was attained by those partners, after the date on the contract, essentially providing incriminating evidence of fraudulent accounting practices and possible embezzlement. Is this information admissable in a complaint to the CPA board? Is there a law that protects partners presenting this information from a counter suit?

Re: Contract Dissolution

I would suggest that you arrange for a consultation with an attorney who is appropriately knowledgeable and experienced in business as well as contract law to review the partnership agreement and any other relevant documents as well as the facts so that this person can then advise you on these particular issues, accordingly.
