Legal Question in Constitutional Law in Virginia

ex-wife

My current husband was married once before me. She kept his last name after they divorced. I know in CA law that the ''new'' wife (me)could legally have the former wife change her name either to her maiden name or what ever she chooses. What is the law in VA? What would be the proscess? Thanks.

Re: ex-wife

I am not aware of any provision of Virginia law that would allow you, as the new wife, to force the first wife to take another name.
