Legal Question in Consumer Law in Virginia

My fiance and I purchased my car (2007 KIA Spectra) used in February of this year.

September 20, 2011- Check engine light comes on, and I take my car to KOON'S Kia in Woodbridge, VA.

September 21, 2011- My car is "finished" and ready to be picked up.

September 30, 2011- Check engine light comes on, and I take my car to Greenbrier Kia in Chesapeake, VA.

October 15, 2011- I picked my car up from the shop, and the same night, the check engine light came back on.

October 20, 2011- Took my car back to KOON'S Kia in Woodbridge, VA.

October 22, 2011- I picked my car up from the shop.

October 24, 2011- Check engine light back on.

October 27, 2011- Car is "finished" and I picked up. A few hours later, check engine light is back on.

Throughout all of this, I experience delayed acceleration, too high RPM'S, and violent jerking.

Although I know and understand that my car is not eligible for the Lemon Law, considering I bought it used, I KNOW there has to be something that can be done.

I am very close to going over my manufacturer warranty. (I have about 160 miles left on it). PLEASE HELP ME! There has to be something that can be done!

Thank you!
