Legal Question in Credit and Debt Law in Virginia

Using spouse's credit card

What are the possible legal repurcussions of a spouse using their spouse's credit card if they are not listed on the account? The spouse who is on the account gave permission, but now a divorce may be filed and is saying if I file he will deny he authorized the use of the card?

Re: Using spouse's credit card

As long as you had permission(you may have to prove it)to use the credit card there would be no "repercussions".

This kind of threat would appear to stem from the

threat of the divorce and in all probability will come to nothing.
