Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Hi. My husband was arrested on a small marijuana charge in Williamsburg va and put in jail 32 days til court and was sentenced a weekend. The reason he wasn't let out on bond because he was wanted on 3 misdemeanors in Chesterfield co

Virginia. His court day for Chesterfieldis next week. My question is, if the judge gives him jail time, will the extra 30 days he pulled in the other county over the only 2 day sentence be credited to whatever jail time he will get in Chesterfield?

Yes, if your husband was specifically detained in Williamsburg for 30 of his 32 detention days served there for charges arising out of separate crimes he allegedly committed in Chesterfield, he should be credited with these 30 days against any jail time that may be imposed by the Chesterfield court as a result of his conviction for one or more of these particular crimes (my opinion).
