Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

. I pleaded for either of my parents to come to aide me in this situation but my father was at work in Maryland and my mother was in the middle of a college class. Between the time of me calling my parents and the arrival of the officers (which was unusually delayed considering that I passed a cruiser several blocks down from this street) Douglas Ingros was throwing a colorful variety of profanity and insults at his daughter and her friend. About fifteen minutes after the first phone call to the police was made two police cars pulled in behind us and turned on their lights. Ingros, already out of his car, casually approached the officers, while when I attempted to leave my car one of the officers raised his voice and commanded that I reside back into my vehicle. Finally an officer came to speak with me; he took me to the front of my vehicle and attempted to explain through a dissimilar comparison between himself and his nephew. I than stated that even with such circumstances it gave him no right to physically throttle my neck through my car window. The officer than word for word quoted that if he were in Douglas Ingros situation, Things would have been much worst. The officer than proceeded back to his vehicle to speak with Ingros. Several moments later the second officer came over to me and asked for my identification, and I of course proceeded to give it to him. He than copied my information down on a note pad, and at first misread my birth date and stated that I was 18, I quickly showed him his error and he acknowledged it. However I fright that since the officer dismissed me directly after he took down this information that he merely recorded it to give to Douglas Ingros. This theory came to my mind when I was leaving, as I turned around and passed back by the two police cruisers and the black suburban I heard them sharing a socializing like laugh. My mother than called one of the officers to discuss the issue, the officer said that Douglas Ingros had stated that he did reach in my car through the window, but to remove my keys from the ignition in fear that I was going to flee with Megan still present in my vehicle. He than said that Ingros had reported his daughter missing and stated that I was suspected of abducting his daughter, even though school let out this day at 2:12 p.m. and I was stopped by Ingros black suburban before 4 oclock p.m. and allowed to leave the scene before 4:30 p.m. I have two witnesses who have stated that they would voluntarily testify in court as witnesses to this crime, one of them being Douglas Ingros daughter, and the other being her friend, both of which who were in the car and witnessed the situation first hand. Never before have I felt so violated of my rights as an American citizen and a human being and never before have I felt so neglected from protection that should be provided by my local and state government. I fear that Douglas Ingros will use his former career to prevent or alter his incrimination process in the court of law. How should I go about pressing charges on Douglas Ingros
