Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

I was sentenced to weekends in Dublin, va,but due to inclement weather I was unable to make it there for my 3rd weekend. In Dublin policy is to keep the inmate for the entire sentence if a court ordered schedule was interrupted without permission from a judge. So I told the woman in the records dept of the prison that I would be back after I had prepared my daughter for my absence. Now I am prepared but there is a warrant for my arrest for absconding so I'm afraid there will be more time involved, and I'm only prepared to do the original number of days. I'm a single parent and I need to be able to get home. What will happen if I go turn myself in to the prison

You will be arrested and likely held in custody until a judge releases you (my opinion).
