Legal Question in Criminal Law in Virginia

Unsupervised probation or not

the decision of an A&B case was if there is no more trouble before a specific date we will dismiss the case. There has been more trouble before set time an another A&B was filed on the person by someone different. Is/was this person on unsupervised probation or not? How will the first set of charges be handled that is still marked pending once the courts find out about the second set of charges and if the second charge is found guilty how does the first charge get handled?

Re: Unsupervised probation or not

Assuming the person received an SIS(Suspended Imposition of Sentence)for the first case, the court could withdraw that disposition upon learning of the arrest for the second

charge and convict the defendant on the first charge and impose a fine, jail time or both.

And, furthermore, if the defendant is found guilty of the second charge,

he will not be eligible nor receive the deferred disposition option which he got on the first go round.
