I was convicted of a DUI, my first, while I lived in North Carolina. I was mandated by the court to take a DUI class to have my license reinstated; however, I moved to Virginia shortly after and never took the class. I haven't had the need to drive since but will in the next few months. Is it possible to get North Carolina to accept an online DUI class to release the hold on my license or after a certain timeframe does the hold clear?
