Multiple DUIs
My friend just got arrested for a DUI in VA. They suspended his license for 60 days. He's had three prior DUIs in MD, FL and CO. The most recent one before VA was 5 years ago in FL. I believe it's the first time in VA. How will the prior ones affect the VA one when he goes to court?

He needs to contact a VA attorney immediately. If it can be proven that he has prior DUIs, he may be looking at serious jail time. If this had happened in Maryland, he could potentially get more than a year in jail, and from what I understand from my colleagues in VA, it is even worse there.
