Photography Copyright

i have a photography business and this is the first time i'll be charging. these people want me to take pictures of 30 horses to put on their website to sell the horses.....now how do i give them the photos and be sure that they only use them to put on the internet and not sell them?

You need to: mark your photos as protected by a copyright; register them with the copyright office; add to your contract with the buyer the terms of their usage (eg. one time use; exclusive rights etc.). Make the effort now to properly protect your photos so that if they are then sold you will have a copyright claim against the responsible party.
