Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband and I have full legal custody of his 2 daughters. There mother refused to show up for the court hearings on custody and left the states for 4 years. She only kept in touch th efirst maybe 2 years then nothig. Now she is in town , has not contacted myslef or my husband but calls our house to talk to the girls and try to see them when my husband and are are not home. SHe has know got a lawyer and is demandng visitations. Can she legally do this??

Why certainly, if her visitation has not yet been barred by court order nor her parental rights terminated.(That doesn't mean, however, that the court will necessarily grant her request for visitation with her daughters.)
