Determinatio of Child Support if a Subcontractor

I am employeed as a tattoo artist and my wages vary weekly since I work as a subcontractor for the tattoo shop. Since we are not paid on payroll, I obtain a 1099 at the end of the year. How do the courts determine my monthly income if it fluctuates from week to week?

Generally by taking the average of the past twelve months. They may also consider total income for last year.
