Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am trying to file for divorce but I don't know what to put down as far as children go. My wife and I had a son in 2010 but my mother got custody of him in 2011 and has had custody ever since. How do I put that down on the paperwork?

As long as your parental rights to this child were not

legally terminated, the child remains yours and should

therefore be listed, accordingly, in the divorce "paperwork",
