Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

As a follow-up, I will clarify my previous question: I'm currently in the process of divorce, in which I am the defendant. We have recently completed a Pendete Lite Order, and am now being requested to provide the "Requests for Production of Documents", and to answer to the "Interrogatories to Husband". It is my understanding that these are in place to establish a set Child Support order, and to determine whether in fact Adultery was committed. My question is: If I simply state to the Court that I acknowledge the Adultery, and give up my rights to the children, do I still need to fulfill these requests? A child support order has been already placed, and I am not objecting to it. I'd just like to know if in fact I need to fulfill the documentation requests, and agree to child support? Or will I always have to provide these requests?

Yes, as you/ve been named as a defendant in this legal proceeding,

you need to respond to the pretrial discovery requests with which you've

been served, whether it involves a question/issue concerning your alleged adultery or some other matter relevant to the divorce proceeding.
