juvenile and domestic

We will be giving custody of our 16 year old daughter to her friend's family. They claim they will pay everything for her neede and say they need nothing from us. Is there any way we could do that without paying child support.My daughter has been out of control for the past year. We thought the change of family would maybe help her gain control of herself and her life She only has 18mths until shee is 18.
