Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I live in Va and my ex husband is several thousand dollars behind on child support. I have never kept track of it because it was not my intention to get him in trouble. I still don't but it is getting ridiculous. I read that the burden of proof of payment is on him. Can I still go to child support enforcement if I haven't kept up with how much he is behind.

Yes, DCSE should be glad to take your application for child

support enforcement services and should then undertake action

to determine what your husband owes in back child support.
