Question regarding Religion

Ok. My ex and i do not have the same religion. I have full physical custody and 50/50 legal. i completly understand and respect the fact that he can practice his religon with our children. My question is this. At school, the children are asked to participate in holiday events that are not participated in in ''our'' religon (i say ''our'' because the children and i are active in my religion, however their father is not active in ANY religion). I made our beliefs clear to both their teachers at the beginning of the year and would prefer that they NOT participate in these events. their father however has continued to step in and argue with me about weather they may participate in these activities or not. It is my understanding that with full custody i make the decision as to what activities the children may and may not participate in. with the 50/50 legal he has the right to practice his religion with the children, which i am not stopping, but does he also have the right to go to the school and say ''YES, they may participate in this activity.''? I would really appriciate some clarification on this as it has been an extreme headache for both me and my children in the past couple months.

Re: Question regarding Religion

If you and he share joint legal custody you both share, and have the right, to make decisions over school and religion. Both you and he have the right to approach the school on this point.
