Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Transportation to and From dads house

My ex is retuning from Turkey. WE have 2 children. I live in northern VA and he will be stationed in the Norfolk, VA area. He is requesting of me to meet him half (pick-up and drop off)way on his week-ends that he has our children. Is that request legal, what are the trends in this area?

Yes, it's legal. If transportation is not specified in the applicable agreement or order, the question would be open for clarification by a court. In my experience, a court would likely be to tempted to equally divide the transportation responsibilities, but I've seen it go both ways depending on the parties' circumstances.
