Re: child support and spousal support

Unless your husband has accrued enforceable arrearges under the court order, the answer, unfortunately, is very likely not much. However, even in that case, your motion for Show Cause (as to why he should not be found in contempt and sanctioned) would take numerous weeks to process. All of this, of course, points up the lamentable fact that despite all of the many new child support enforcement programs around the country operating under various state agencies, the enforcement of child support is still often a slow and tedious process rather than quick and expeditious as many have come to expect in the age of the Internet.
