Legal Question in Civil Litigation in Virginia

I bought the Big Deal from Angie's List, and paid Angie's List $2999 to have my trim wrapped on my house in July 2012. Then I paid the Big Deal contractor an additional $3480 for gutters and siding. Contractor has now run into hiding. Nobody can contact him. He did not finish the work. Angie's List says "too bad", no refund even though they skimmed $598 off the top for "advertising". What type of lawyer can tell me if I have a lawsuit against Angie's List? I can't sue the contractor because he can't be found.

You should contact us. I don't have a copy of the agreement between Angie List and you -- but the Big Deal is only offered through Angie's List. They will most likely know where that contractor is, and if they do not, probably have means of contacting thee individual.

Give us a ring at 703-402-2723.
