Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

I am currently on B2 visa status and I have been admitted at University at PhD program in Mechanical Engineering with full tuition, and scholarship. I have strong ties with my home country, I will be hired back home when I finish my education in the US.

The question is Do I need a sponsor among all this or this is too much for F1 visa?

You do not need a "sponsor" or an offer of employment. Your I-20 is enough to get your F-1 visa. However, USCIS might require you to obtain the visa at the U.S. Consulate abroad (as opposed to changing status from a B-2 to F-1).
