Legal Question in Immigration Law in Virginia

Hello,

I would like to apply for American green card lottery.

I found many web sites which are offering this!

But i thought that this is only approved by American government, and that there is only one legal and authorized site, run by American government.

Other sites are asking me for a money if i would like to participate in lottery.

My question is: Are those sites also legal and approved and authorized or they are scams and i shouldn't pay?

And if some of them are legal, on which ones should i apply , if you are familiar with it?

You can only apply for the Diversity Visa Lottery through the U.S. Department of State website. However, some attorneys will charge a small fee to prepare the online application on your behalf. Never use a "notario", legal service, paralegal, etc. if you need someone to assist you. Only use a licensed immigration attorney in the United States & don't pay more than $50 for assistance.

Applications for the 2015 Diversity Visa Program begin in October 2014. See www.travel.state.gov for more details.
