Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia

Can an employer discriminate against a white male illegally and get away with it because there is an employment contract in place? Employment is governed by the laws of the commonwealth of Virginia and arbitration is required per the agreement & must take place in Virginia.

No, whatever "employment contract" you believe may be in place in your

situation, such contract could not shield the Commonwealth from responsibility for

discriminating against any employee on the basis of his or her race (if such can be proven).

But, yes, if arbitration is part of the terms of your employment with the Commonwealth,

you will have to go through this process to contest this alleged discrimination for which

you would be well advised to have an attorney experienced with such matters to represent you.
