Do my employer suppose to pay me from the time I clock in till the time I clock out or can he give me what he think I should have

No, as an hourly compensated employee, your employer should be paying you as

required by the promulgated regulations of the U.S. Department of Labor (DOL), meaning for all

"clocked hours" up to 40 in any given week + time and one half for any such hours which

exceed 40.
