Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia

My husband and I are getting a divorce. I am the only one who physically signed the lease. His name is printed on it, but he never signed it. I need to evict him so that my room mates can move in. He has been paying utility bills but no portion of the rent. How do I evict him so I can move on with my life?

Find out whether the landlord considers him on the lease, and, if not, process your request through this landlord (would be my recommendation).

Otherwise, if he is considered as being legally on this lease, you will likely need

to adjudicate his departure from these premises through divorce proceedings(my opinion).
