Legal Question in Landlord & Tenant Law in Virginia
My wife and I rented out an entire B&B for our wedding. 2 days after checking out we were told the owner was keeping our security deposit due to "extra" cleaning that was needed. In addition to the $500 security deposit we also had to pay a $125 cleaning fee. We have pictures from before and after and the B&B looks just as good if not better than when we had checked in. What can we do? It has been 57 days since our checkout.

So what does your contract have to say about this issue (if anything), i.e. the terms of your rental of this
