Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

We had personnel injury trial. We were asking for $475,000.00 plus interest on a 3 year old case. Before the trial began we agree to a high/low monetary figure.($475,000.00/$200,00.00)with the other lawyers. The jury came back with a settlement of $80,000.00 plus interest. Now shouldn't the interest be considered extra from the $200,000.00 since that is what was asked for separate from the settlement?

It probably would not be extra, unless the high-low agreement provides for it.
