Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

Builder not delivering what was promised

My wife and I put a contract down on a new home to be built in which my realtor was present. Since then the sales manager has been fired and all of the things we were promised such as the property line and delivery date have changed for the worse. Do we have any legal recourse to stand on to make sure the builder delivers what they had promised?

The property line should have been in the contract, as should the delivery date. You need to consult the terms of the written contract. Chances are, it even says that it is the entire agreement and any oral statements are not to be considered. But you should see a lawyer, as there may be an exception to this general principle.
