Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Virginia

If my home is condemed, how long do I before I have to move?

I believe the rental property I live in is about to be condemed, it is in very bad condition. If it is, how long do I have before I have to vacate? Will I even be allowed back in to get my possessions? I live in Rhapahanock county, VA. Thank you

If the property is condemned, an official notice of the condemnation will be sent to the owner of record, and a copy may be posted on your door.

This notice should contain the answers to your questions. I can assure you, however, that you will be allowed ample time to remove your possessions.
