Legal Question

I put my car up for sale, took an earnest deposit and then changed my mind. I tore up the deposit check that I never cashed and told the seller I wasn't going to sell it to them. Is there any legal action they can take against me?

In theory, yes, perhaps, (Complaint for Specific Performance), but as a practical matter, no, not too likely....
