Real Estate Settlement

Had closing today on condo, now being told her VA loan will not be approved. Papers all signed, but no money. Who do we blame for this monstrous snafu?

Re: Real Estate Settlement

How could one know based upon the paucity of information provided in your question? The mortgage lender, perhaps, or the real estate agent, the buyer herself who may have omitted some key information in her application, or the Veterans Administration itself; could be any one of these or all three, or even someone or something else.

Correctomundo, as the Fonz would say?

Re: Real Estate Settlement

It is a bit hard to answer from your question. It sounds like you may be the seller and the buyer's VA loan did not get approved. There are many factors to consider, beginning with what does the contract say? You might want to run this by an attorney.
