Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

If I am driving on a suspended licence, my car is out of inspection, can not pass inspection, and then start driving my mother's car what will happen to me. And can my mother get in trouble for knowingly allow me to drive her car with a suspended licence? Richmond, VA

You could be charged with DWS (Driving While Suspended)--a jailable

offense in the Commonwealth.

And, no, I don't see your mother incurring any criminal liability arising out

of the situation you've described.
