Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia

Reckless Driving (Street Racing) in VA

Ok, I have a license in virginia. I am in the process of moving to North Carolina. If I go to NC DMV and change my license to a north carolina's drivers license and then go to court for this particular charge will my license be suspended for just the state of virginia, or will it be suspended for all states (especially north carolina)

Re: Reckless Driving (Street Racing) in VA

Since North Carolina and Virginia belong to the same Insterstate Drivers' License Compact whose member states share information with one another regarding their respective drivers, once your operator's license is suspended in the Commonwealth,

it is quite likely that North Carolina will soon find out about it and, take action to also suspend it in that state.
