Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Virginia

Does the Commonwealth (state) of Virginia, in particular the county of Prince William, require a witness and notary for a Last Will and Testament to be valid -- or can a Last Will and Testament become a valid document with only the signature of the Testator of the Will?
