deed transfer
Dear Sirs; I would like to transfer my property (i.e. home) to my partner of seven years,but not all at once so as to avoid tax burden. Could you tell the forms, that I would need and how to do it increments of say five(5) years. Would appreciate your help and also would I need attorney for this work. Thanks

This question was posted under the heading of Trusts, Wills and Estate. Since it concerns the transfer of property while you are alive and the property that you wish to transfer is real estate and not just personalty, you need the services of an attorney that practices in the area of real estate or real property. You could contact the Virginia State Bar Lawyer Referral program for a referral to an attorney who practices in that area. The attorney would give you a 1/2 hr. consultation for a nominal fee.
