Inaccurate Inventory
I just received copy of mother's estate inventory from probate office. From my point of view, the inventory is inaccurate and incomplete. Real estate was submitted, but personal rep. does not have complete control of sale of land because land trust was written for the real estate. Washer, dryer, refrigerator, and antiques were not listed in inventory. Can I challenge the commisioner's report from the personal representative? If so, do I file a complaint or must I hire a lawyer to file a complaint

Yes, if there are inaccuracies in the inventory, you should file a complaint, sending copies to both the personal rep (executor) and the commissioner of accounts.
You are not required to hire an attorney to do this. Be as precise and clear as possible. Obviously, it might help to have an attorney.
Please note that there may be further steps later on in the process to challenge the inventory. THose may be more complex and may create a greater need for an attorney. But you are not required to have an attorney.
