Are Breathalyzers in Schools Unconstitutional

Is the use of Breathalzyers given to students before they enter the prom or some other school sponsored event unconstitititional under Washington State law or federal law and how does the special needs doctrine relate to this issue?

That's a good question, but I don't know the answer. I know for a fact that the ACLU has dealt with this. The WA chapter is in Seattle.
